Independent Review Organization (IRO) Engagements

Choosing a qualified IRO is a primary element in most CIAs. CCI is expertly staffed to undertake all the responsibilities required of an IRO. In serving as a government-approved IRO on numerous occasions, CCI has performed both the Billing Engagement, to determine whether a provider’s billing functions conform to requisite standards, and the Compliance Engagement, to measure whether an organization’s Compliance Program, policies, procedures and operations are in compliance with the terms of the CIA.

Our team approach to an IRO engagement is to complete the required reviews timely and in a non-intrusive fashion. If issues or problems are uncovered, CCI will offer advice concerning corrective action and assist with the development of an effective strategy to resolve the matter at hand. CCI will also compile the required reports as directed by the government for inclusion in the organization’s Annual Report to the OIG.

Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) Offerings

CIA requirements are often stringent and burdensome. CCI has assisted provider organizations throughout the country in meeting CIA obligations.
